That could have gone better.

Lunch today was at Burger Bar. The burgers not particularly good -- not good beef, not prepared well. They get an A plus on the accoutrements, however; bun, veggies, and instead of fries, freshly-fried potato chips, which ranged from amazing to greasy and undercooked. It was strange, though, not to be able to order cheese or bacon on my burger. In fact, the number of establishments in the country where one can get a bacon cheeseburger can probably be counted on both hands...

I was supposed to meet Johnny at this gym (called Upgrade, amusingly enough) tonight, unfortunately I spazzed, got lost, and got there late. Tomorrow is another day. The new Harry Potter book is great, although I am continually irritated by the sitcom-like lack of communication between the main characters. I've spent so much of my reading time shouting at Harry, 'JUST TELL DUMBLEDORE, DAMMIT!'. Oh well.

I will admit that even though I'm clearing out the backlog of assignments, I am cherry-picking the easiest ones, and now that I'm left with moderately difficult ones I'm losing my resolve. One more assignment and I'll lose myself for the night, I think.

Walking back from my aborted gym trip, I decided to check out a dark alley and stumbled upon a wonderfully tiny park wedged between a bunch of buildings. It's been too long since I've gotten out into the city -- therefore I dub Wednesday Exploration Day Two. After class, I'll grab my computer and some water; my goal is to get to Thorheim and Dungeon, the two clubs I utterly failed to get to last week. They're on opposite sides of the city -- Dungeon is actually in Jaffa -- so it ought to be interesting.

Does writing this journal entry count as finishing an assignment?

I think it does. Ooh! I have Hebrew homework! Write five sentences!

Sweet.
